Pulwama, March 15 (KNO) : A youth from Pulwama has come up with the first online pharmacy in Kashmir which delivers all ethical branded medicines at the doorstep.
Zeeshan Ayoub, a resident of Goosu village in Newa belt of Pulwama district who has pursued MBA from Alliance University Bangalore and later another MBA from Webber International University Florida USA has working in several famous companies of India before coming up with this initiative.
Zeeshan while talking with Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said two years before, he started physical pharmacy outlet but during Covid-19, he got an idea to start an online business and developed an app "Healthmart Kashmir" available on the android platform and very soon coming on IOS also.
"My aim is to reach to the downtrodden people of Kashmir by giving a little discount to them on the medicine along with free home delivery," he said, adding that, in coming days he is going to start home sample collection for lab tests especially for old aged people who can't wait for a long time for their turn.
Zeeshan said that one who will order medicines online will be asked to send his ration ticket xerox also so that deserving families will get the benefit.
He said that at present he has started to deliver medicines in all areas of Srinagar, Pulwama and Chadoora and in the coming days he will cover more area.
Zeeshan at present is providing job to six people.
"Incoming days more people will get a job here and my message to the youth of J&K will be don't wait for government jobs rather start your own business and become job provider, not seeker," he said. (KNO)
